Introduction
- Corido Ltd, bearing registration number 515675627 (hereinafter: “Corido”, “We” or the “Company”), offers usage in navigation software and services relating to cemeteries (hereinafter: the “Software”) and the Service (as defined in Section 4 of Corido’s terms of use hereinafter: the “Service” or the “Services”) through the website gravez.me and/or by cellular media and/or by any other means (hereinafter collectively: the “App" or the “Application”). The Company appreciates the privacy of the users of the App and the Services offered through it.
- This Privacy Policy specifies, inter alia, what information we collect, why we collect it, and what is it used for.
- This Privacy Policy is incorporated as part of the App’s Terms of Use (hereinafter: the “Terms”) and your use of the Services indicates your consent to this Privacy Policy and the Terms.
- In this Privacy Policy:
- the terms “Your Information” and/or “Personal Information” means information which you provide to us which personally identifies you, such as your name, e-mail address, billing information, searches you conduct using the App, your location and route information or other data which can be reasonably linked to such information by Corido;
- Singular shall also means plural, and vice versa; Male language shall also means female language and vice versa, all as applicable.
User Accounts & Accessing the Services
- Please note that when you install the Application on your mobile device, Corido may set up an account associated with that mobile device (“Your Account”). Corido will collect and use Your Information, including meta-data (as described below), in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This use may include linking Your Information with Your Account. This is the case irrespective of whether or not you choose to create a Corido username and password in the App (as explained below).
- When using the Service without defining a user name and password, Corido will link all of Your Information with Your Account and a unique identifier generated by Corido in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This helps us in the performance of action, such as finding the best route for you. Note that in order to access the paid Services you will need to set up a unique username and password to identify yourself.
- When using the Service after defining a username and password in the, Corido will link all of Your Information with Your Account, including your username and password, and any information received from all mobile devices by which you have chosen to sign in using your username and password. It is hereby clarified your login details are your responsibility. You are fully accountable for any use or misuse of Your Account and Your Information as a result of conveying your login details to someone else. You must maintain your login details in absolute confidentiality and avoid disclosing them to others. Make sure that you change your password frequently and at least once every six months.
Information that is being collected
- Any information you provide during your use of the Services, depends on your will and consent. Please note that you are not obligated by law to provide such information.
- As part of using our Services, the App collects information you create or provide to us, such as:
- Information required when setting up a username and password ;
- Information you choose to share with Corido, including: the username you have chosen (if applicable), your phone number, your e-mail address and other identifying information associated with Your Account, favorites definitions, search queries, payment information, and any additional information you will chose to provide us.
- Communication with the Company, including sending a request, contacting, inquiries on various subjects, paid services etc..
- In addition, as part of your use of the Services, we collect information which is generated during your activity, which includes, inter alia:
- Detailed information regarding your location, travel time and route information. For example, information regarding your location, and travel route is collected in the form of GPS signals (combined with a time-stamp) and other information sent by your mobile device on which the App is installed and activated. This location and route information is saved as route history of all of the journeys you have made while using the App. The types of location data we collect depends in part on your device and Your Account settings.
- Searches you conducted using the App.
- Your views and use in the paid Services.
- Your views and interactions with content and ads in the App.
- Meta-data we collect regarding the use of the Services, the browser through which the App is and the device which is used for the consummation of the Services, such as:
- Corido may collect and record: how often and for how long you use the App, your device type and name, unique identifiers, operating system type and its version, battery usage, information viewed on our Services, advertisements that are shown to you or that you view or click on, the internet protocol (IP) address and the name of the domain that serves you to access the Services, and the geographic location of the device that you are using to log in and use on the Services.
- Corido may also collect information about applications installed on your device that Corido can link with - such as WhatsApp and e-mail.
- We also collect information about the interaction of your devices with our Services, including, crash reports, system activity, and the date, time, and referrer URL of your request.
- We may also receive aggregated, non-personally identifiable information and analysis from third parties measurement services which help us understand how our users interact with our Services, for example: Google Analytics.
- We use various technologies to collect and store information, including, cookies, advertising ID, application data caches, databases, and server logs.
- When you visit a third-party site from the App, any collection of information about you when visiting such a third-party site is subject to the third-party privacy policy and not to this Privacy Policy. If you wish to review the privacy policy of such third parties, you must visit their service or contact them directly.
The reason we collect data
- Provide our services - We use Your Information to deliver our Services. For example: use your location and route information and/or search query history to provide navigation services, best route choices and in order to offer you relevant paid Services.
- Maintain & improve our services - We use Your Information, inter alia, to ensure our Services are working properly, for example: tracking Service outages or troubleshooting issues you report to us. In addition we use Your Information to improve the Services or to develop new features or new services. For example: Corido may use your route information in order to improve the accuracy of its mapping and navigation data.
- Provide personalized Services, including paid Services - we may use the information we collect in order to customize the Services for you, For example, Corido may use your search history and/or your “favorites” information (if you choose to provide such information), and/or route history to offer routes based on how you’ve chosen to travel in the past. Based on your past activity, we may also propose Services and remainders which are related to destinations you were searching or to which you where navigating with the App. We may also use such information to provide you with support and/or attend to your requests and complaints.
- Measure performance - We use data for analytics and measurement to understand how our Services are used. Such analysis enables activities such as Service improvements. We also use the data we collected about payed Services to monitor the performance by the various service providers, and to deliver aggregate reports to service providers.
- Communicate with you - We also use Your Information to send you updates, notices, announcements, and additional information related to the Services. In addition, we may also use Your Information to conduct surveys and questionnaires and if you contact us we may keep a record of your request in order to help solve any issues you might be facing. In addition, to the extent required under applicable law, we may also use the e-mail address you provided, to send you direct mailing. At any time you may choose not to receive such materials by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link in the e-mail messages that we may send to you. In any event, Corido will not share your contact details with any advertiser, unless explicitly permitted by you or required by law.
- To protect Corido, our users and for Legal reasons – collection Your Information uses, inter alia, for the purposes of: the enforcement of the Terms or the Privacy Policy, to contact you when we believes it to be necessary, to comply with any applicable law and assist law enforcement agencies in accordance with any applicable law, when Corido’s cooperation with the law enforcement agencies is legally mandated or meets the applicable legal standards and procedures, to detect abuse and illegal activity, to detect and prevent fraud, misappropriation, infringements, identity theft and other illegal activities and misuse of the Services, to attend to breakdowns and malfunctions, to take actions in any case of dispute, or legal proceeding of any kind between you and the Company and/or the Service providers and/or any third parties with respect to, or in relation with the Services, for purposes specified under this Privacy Policy and the Terms, to improve the safety and reliability of our Services, including detecting, preventing, and responding to security risks, and technical issues that could harm Corido, our users, or the public and to create aggregated and/or anonymous data (where such data does not enable the identification of a specific user)
Sharing your information with third parties
- Corido will not share your Personal Information with others, without your permission, except for the following purposes and to the extent necessary in Corido’s discretion:
- To transmit information you have chosen to share with others through networks and/or communication means such as sending search results via e-mail and/or text message and/or WhatsApp message etc.
- Corrido may provide the forum of directors of the large Jewish burial societies in Israel information about a deceased person, who will be provided to us through your requests regarding matters related to the deceased's details, such as clarification of the burial place of a deceased person who does not appear in the App, requests regarding the correction of deceased details, etc.
- Corido may share Your Information with entities that provide and/or will provide the Company with maintenance and development services for the App.
- For the purpose of collecting, storing, holding and managing Your Information on third- party servers and/or through cloud services or hosting services or through a third party or a related or affiliated party for reasonable business purposes that may be located outside of Israel.
- Corido may share Your Information with selected measurement service providers with whom it works and/or will work in connection with the performance of analysis and measurement of the use of the Services, as well as with trusted partners and other suppliers which Corido will use to provide the Services. Such information shall be shared in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- Corido may share Your Information with Service providers which Corido provides the paid Services through them, as well as with entities that allow you to preform payments to the Company, in order to provide the Service you wish to receive and in order to track your order of such Services, including by creating aggregate reports that also include Your Information.
- If Corido reasonably believes that you have violated the Terms, or is investigating a possible violation of the Terms, or believes that you have misused your rights to use the Services or have committed an act or omission which Corido reasonably believes in good faith that it violates any applicable law, rules or regulations. In these cases, Corido may share Your Information with law enforcement authorities and with other competent authorities and with any third party as may be required to address any result of any wrongdoing you have committed.
- If Corido is required, or reasonably and in good faith believes it is required, by law, to share or disclose Your Information.
- In any case of dispute, or legal proceedings of any kind between you and Corrido, or between you and any third party in connection with or in relation to the Services.
- In any event which Corido believes that the sharing of Your Information is necessary to protect against infringement of the rights, property or security of Corido, our users or the public, all as required or permitted by law, including in order to prevent physical damage or damage to property.
- Identify, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.
- If Corido will arrange the operation of the Services in another framework, or through another legal structure or body, or if Corido is acquired by another entity or merged into another entity or if Corido enters bankruptcy proceedings, provided that such entities agree that the provisions of this Privacy Policy shall oblige them mutatis mutandis.
Cookies
- Corido may use cookies and similar technologies in the App Cookies are packets of information sent by the website’s servers to your web browser and then sent back by the browser each time it accesses the App’s servers.
- Corido may use cookies for various purposes, such as to save you the need to re-enter your username and password each time you log in, to facilitate the use of the App, to collect statistical information, to verify information, to customize the App to your personal preferences and for information security purposes.
- Some of the cookies may expire when the session ends and you exit your browser. Other cookies are saved on your device. If you wish to block the App's cookies, then please use the help button in your browser and follow the instructions there. However, bear in mind that disabling cookies may complicate or even prevent your use of the App, or certain features thereof.
Advertising campaigns
- Corido may conduct by itself and/or allow others to manage ad campaigns in the App.
- The information and advertisements that you may see when accessing the Services may be targeted on the basis of your current Corido activity, such as your current location, your destination or contextual information based on your current session. For example, if you are on your way to the cemetery, you may see an ad that allows you to purchase memorial candles or flowers in your area.
- Depending on your settings, you may also see ads personalized to you based on:
- Information we received from you (for example, “favorites” you saved to Your Account).
- Past activity and search query history (for example, routes that appear in your routes list).
- Information from our Service providers.
- Our Services includes an internal messaging system which provides you the ability to send and receive messages, including marketing messages from us. You hereby agree that we may use the internal messaging system for the purpose of informing you regarding products or Services, which may interest you.
- It is clarified that we are not responsible for the content of said advertisements and the products delivered or services rendered thereby by third parties and you irrevocably and unconditionally agree that you will not hold us responsible or liable, in any manner, for any loss, damage, cost or expense that you may suffer or incur as a result or in connection thereof.
Information security
- Corido attaches importance to the protection of the Personal Information of the App's users, and operates measures to protect and safeguard Personal Information collected from harm, loss or unauthorized access. However, the company's systems are not completely immune and it cannot provide absolute assurance that Personal Information will not be disclosed, stolen or lost. By using the App you represent that you are aware of and agree to these risks..
Changes to this Privacy Policy
- Corido may from time to time change the terms of this Privacy Policy, in case of change, Corido will present the updated policy in the App. We recommend that you keep updated with Privacy Policy from time to time.
- Changes in the terms of the Privacy Policy will take effect 7 days after their initial posting on the App, however, if Corido amends the Privacy Policy to comply with legal requirements, the amendments will become effective immediately upon their initial posting on the App, or as required.
- You agree to be bound by any change made in the terms of this Privacy Policy, and by continuing to use the App after an update of the Privacy Policy, you indicate your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
